The job is going well, I suppose. I seem to fit in pretty well, and, other than the slow times, it's not all that bad. It provides a pay check so I can't really complain much. I do have to admit though that it has reminded me why I'm going to college; I don't like standing up for eight hours at a time with little, if any movement, and I don't want to get off work at nine-thirty every night for the rest of my life. One more year though and I should be good. Then of course, it's off to grad school.
More has happened in the past couple of weeks, but the bulk of it has been work and trying to unpack. I did have to take my old Toshiba laptop into Best Buy yesterday to have it shipped off to Atlanta to have a power problem repaired. I've decided though to try and get a new laptop when my student loans go through. My current one is going on five years old and has had a rough life from the beginning, and so it is time to do the deed and upgrade. Chris has a mac that I have learned how to use over the past few weeks, and I've learned recently (my computer completely crashed in June, deleted my hard drive, and would not run windows) that I absolutely hate PC's and adore macs. I'm looking into getting a macbook, but nothing has been decided yet. So that's where my life stands at the moment, but don't get too comfortable - it will be changing again soon enough, it always does. Tomorrow is my day off; happy Friday, all!
